Art Photography Clinic

The Carleton Place Gallery will be setting up a professional photo lab in the studio to help artists promote their art business.

Bring your art pieces (framed or unframed) to be photographed or scanned in a controlled lighting environment. The results will be presented in a ready-to-go media package, with print-ready and social media files for all images, enabling each artist to produce archival quality prints, art cards, water-marked images and social media posts.

HOW IT WORKS:

Professional photographer Tony Mihok will photograph your work, and Gallerist Colleen Gray will scan any unframed pieces, and will provide each artist with a memory stick of images. Note: The flatbed scanner can accommodate images up to 9x12”. (A flatbed scanner creates a high resolution scan of your flat image)

• The standard package allows for 3 images either photographed or scanned, and costs $95.00 per person.
• Extra images are photographed at $25.00 each, or scanned at $15.00 each payable at the time of your appointment by credit or debit.
• Each session should take no more than 15 minutes to photograph and you will be notified once your files are ready for pickup at the gallery.
• Your package includes file rendering for all your images. Print format will be 16x20" and 11x14" and the art card template will be print-ready. (If you would like your logo on the back of the card, please bring it in JPG format on a stick.)
