The Carleton Place Gallery welcomes TRIPOD to the stage for our June ART HOUSE Music Series. Hosted by Mel and Don Bray from Carleton Place. You won’t want to miss this concert.

TRiPOD – We Are Family ….and the family that plays together…makes memories together. Kathryn Briggs, Terry Tufts and daughter Beth Tufts have all made music for most of their lives. From stages to studios, teaching, performing, music has been the central thread in the weave of TRiPOD’s eclectic tapestry. Terry is an award-winning singer-songwriter, finger-style guitarist who has performed with countless greats as well as being a solo artist. Kathryn began her musical life quietly, learning piano from several gifted and eclectic teachers who instilled in her a love of music and a passion for sharing it with others. She began teaching at 18 and it wasn’t until she met Terry in 1997 that she started to perform. Beth literally sang her way through her public-school years. As she grew, her musical horizons grew too … she played violin, piano and lots of guitar. Then as the family made its way across Canada during Spring 2018, an offer to play together as a trio presented itself and TRiPOD was formed. TRiPOD brings audiences a wildly eclectic mix of original music and cover tunes with passion, joy and a whole lot of fun….and love.

Show your e-ticket at Stalwart Brewing Company (10 High St.) between 5 an 6 pm on concert night, for a free half-pint. Local tastes will be sold by The Orange Berry Company at the gallery before the concert.
