Come join us at the Carleton Place Gallery for an evening of fun, art and music. Hosts for the evening will be Mel and Don Bray from Carleton Place.

PICTURE THIS…

A bunch of baby boom teenagers from Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto playing in everything from punk bands to blues, country and rock outfits to African drum circles, classical and choral groups, followed by a kaleidoscope of educational pursuits and careers, marriages, mortgages, moves and children over the next couple of decades.

Cut to a 21st century ….and enter the unpredictable, folklectic world of the five guys who call themselves The Ragged Flowers.

From their creative lair in Almonte – the band still marvels at a formation-by-chance in their community’s café scene in 1997. After discovering each other, roving jam sessions for handfuls of people quickly grew into a string of monthly music-food fusion events.

Show your e-ticket at Stalwart Brewing Company (10 High St.) between 5 an 6 pm on concert night, for a free half-pint. Local tastes will be sold by The Orange Berry Company at the gallery before the concert.
