Immerse yourself in a fantastic evening as music and art collide at the Art House Music Series, Carleton Place Gallery. Hosts Mel and Don Bray of Carleton Place, bring you top musicians and artists from surrounding areas each month. December’s feature artist is Yavor Kresic.
Yavor Kresic is an Ottawa based singer / songwriter who has been playing and performing music for over forty-five years. He started playing guitar at the age of 14 and immersed himself into a wide variety of styles while performing in local cover bands throughout the Ottawa area.
Yavor’s music is a unique combination of classic rock, folk and blues. This inspires him to explore a myriad of musical styles, while creating a strong emotional connection to his audience. His songs are an expression of the interior landscape of his human experience and emotions. Both well-crafted and thoughtful, they are composed in a manner similar to the way in which a painter applies colour to canvas.
Show your e-ticket at Stalwart Brewing Company (10 High St.) between 5 an 6 pm on concert night, for a free half-pint. Local tastes will be sold at the gallery before the concert by Riverside Sauces and Seasonings.
